HalfChicken is a sicilian rhythm and blues combo
mainly influenced by early '50s rock'n'roll and carribean music from that era.

Their music is a blend of the jumpin' sounds of Louis Jordan and Fats Domino mixed with echoes of Laurel Aitken and Clue J and his Blues Blasters. The recipe is simple: shuffle and boogie rhythms paving the way for the bouncin' piano with sax and guitar unisons on top... the right blend for their nutty lyrics about mosquitoes and laziness in a hot midday sicilian sun. A mixture of sheer class that'll knock you off as you dance to the music!

In the spring of 2014 they published their first EP – Stoney House Rockin’ – containing four of the songs penned by the band and two covers by some of their favourite musicians who influenced them throughout the years.
